Source text - Persian (Farsi) یکی از مسائل مهم در طول تاریخ فلسفه خود یا ماهیت شخص است. تحولات معاصر در عصب‌شناسی، روان‌شناسی، فلسفه ذهن، و به طور کلی علوم شناختی دیدگاه‌های جدیدی را درباره این موضوع شکل داده است. به طور کلی، برجسته‌ترین نظریه‌های خود عبارت است از: نظریه خود به مثابه جوهری غیرمادی، و نظریه بقچه‌ای خود. طبق نظریه نخست شخص عبارت است از جوهری غیرمادی که وجودش مستقل از بدن است. طرفداران این نظریه معتقدند خود امری ست که ما وجودش را بی‌واسطه درک میکنیم، و از طرف دیگر وحدت آگاهی فقط در صورت وجود خود تبیین پذیر است. اما طرفداران نظریه بقچه‌ای ادعای تجربه بی‌واسطه وجود خود را رد میکنند و معتقدند اصلاً چنین جوهری وجود ندارد. از طرف دیگر، ایشان معتقدند برای تبیین وحدت آگاهی نیازی به مفروض‌گرفتن جوهری غیر مادی نیست؛ چراکه می‌توان وحدت آگاهی را بر اساس خاطره و تداوم روان‌شناختی تبیین کرد. بر اساس این نظریه شخص عبارتست از مجموعه‌ای واحد از رخدادهای ذهنی که به طور علّی و معلولی با سیستم عصبی و به طور خاص با مغز مرتبط شده‌اند. در تاریخ فلسفه غرب برای اولین بار دیویدهیوم این دیدگاه را به صورت یک نظریه مطرح و از آن دفاع کرد. این نظریه شباهت هایی نیز با نظریه نفی خود در آیین بودا دارد که خود مستلزم نگارش یک مقاله مستقل است. در آیین بودا یکی از پیامدهای تمرین مستمر مراقبه شهود این واقعیت است که خود وجود ندارد؛ و تحقق این بینش در باب خود زمینه را برای زیست اخلاقی فراهم میکند.
Translation - English The self in its essence has constantly been an issue of significance throughout the history of philosophy. However, concurrent evolutions in neurology, psychology and mind-philosophy and all cognitive sciences in general, have tackled new and emerging perspectives on this subject. In general, the most prominent theories of the self, include: the theory of self as an incorporeal substance, and the bundle theory. According to the first theory, the self is defined as an immaterial substance existing independent of the body; and its proponents maintain that the self is a matter we understand immediately. On the other hand, unity of consciousness is only explainable if the self already exists. On the contrary, the proponents of the bundle theory deny the immediate experiencing of the self and maintain that such a substance is not existent at all. In the meanwhile, they believe there is no need to assume an incorporeal substance in order to explain the unity of consciousness; rather the unity of consciousness may be explained based on memories and psychological continuity. According to this theory, the self is comprised of a united set of subjective events having been associated to the nervous system, especially the brain, both causally and effectually. David Hume was the first one to propose and defend this perspective as a theory in the history of western philosophy. Interestingly this theory has similarities to the Buddhist theory of denial of the self, which requires exclusive elaboration in a dedicated paper. In Buddhism, a certain consequence of exercising continued intuitive meditation is the reality that the self does not exist. Realizing such an intuition, provides the contexts for moral living in a way.

This is a female great tit. And this is a blue tit. They are both extraordinarily skillful at caring for their eggs. Creating an egg is hard work. It requires additional nutrients, including calcium for the shell. And because tits lay large clutches they need large amounts of additional calcium.
As day breaks over the River Thames, great crested grebes and mute swans court in the morning light. But each dawn mating is not sparking an egg to life.

This is a relevant question for a wide range of athletic
activities, including baseball pitching. Although 7 million
boys and girls (age 6-17 years) play organized baseball in
the United States each year, the number competing at
the high school level is only half a million.19,22 Leagues typically
allow players to start pitching in organized baseball
around 9 years of age, several years before physical
changes associated with puberty, which usually occur
around 13 years for boys.18 Adolescent males grow taller
at an average rate of 10.3 cm per year and gain 50% of
their adult weight during puberty, much of which is driven
by an increase in testosterone.

Laboratory of the American Sports Medicine
Institute for initial testing during his first spring as a baseball
pitcher. The prospective, longitudinal study was explained to
the participant and his parent or guardian, who then provided
written informed assent and consent, respectively.
The participant’s height and weight were measured, and
his upper arm circumference was measured at the fullest
part of the arm between the shoulder and elbow. Test age
was computed from the participant’s test date and date of
birth. Pitching biomechanics were then captured with methods
