Hi there! My name is Larissa, a journalist with over 10 years of experience in translation, writing, and editing market - I've worked (and still work) for clients such as Fundação Itaú Social, Brastemp B.blend, Hospital Sírio Libanês, Vogue Brazil, SEGA Europe, Nintendo, Facebook, Abbott and UN.
I have always been fascinated by creativity, and this is one of the fuels that drive me to this day: the comfort zone is not and has never been a place where I stayed for a long time. That's why I explore various communication fields, where I've worked with photography - my escape valve to this day - in the Sannas group until I fell in the advertisement and editorial office, where I rediscovered my passion for words.
More than 4 years ago, I left my country to have new experiences and discovered my home in the world (which I currently call London). With my backpack, I've been to 18 countries, done a lot of volunteer work, and got to experience the way language translates into small acts, from a smile to a look, and how all cultures - from the most distant of Southeast Asia, throughout Europe to South America - have much more in common than you might think.
Bringing these cultures together requires willingness, patience, and time; communication forms the bullet points that translation helps to connect, and this is how I bring all the cultures of the world near me, working with people from all corners of the planet and developing my skills in daily challenges.
Whether you need strategy-focused content, localized translation focused on the people, you want to communicate with, review and edit your proofread material, or chat and find out how we can put our experiences together to create a new project (with a few hints of travel tips around the world): contact me here!
