I'm native Russian and Ukrainian and near native Polish speaker (17 years spent in the country so far) as well as advanced English speaker (English-language masters at the US-accredited university and professional academic use of language). At the moment - freelance translator, editor and writer.

During a long time I have been a full-time academic teacher, teaching undergraduate and graduate students in Polish and English in Polish colleges and universities.

My translation experience is both academic and commercial.

For my PhD I translated lots of the American academic sources to Polish. Later, since 2009 I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter as well as coordinator for such institutions as Office of the Committee for European Integration (Poland), local district and town authority offices or various non-governmental organizations as well as private clients.

I did Polish-Russian-Polish, Polish-Ukrainian-Polish, Polish-English-Polish written and consecutive oral translations.

Topics and spheres: general social sciences, renewable energy sources; waste segregation and recycling; employment law; start-ups, business incubators, technology parks; local self-government; academic international cooperation; archival metrics documents; architecture, design & construction; fashion, clothing; tourism & hospitality etc.

I translate using Trados SDL ONLY! (no online tools or memoq etc.)
