I am a freelance translator working into the following combinations:

Professional qualifications:

- Aspirant Naval Technician diploma awarded in 2005 that helps me everyday in the translation of technical documents;
- BA degree in Linguistic Mediation and MA degree in Modern Languages involving translation, interpretation and subtitling which layed the foundation for my current freelance activity;

- Translate for life (2 days course): The tax compliance and the legal aspect of the translator profession, workshop on Trados, marketing for translators, dictionaries and tools, the approach to technical text;

- Technical Translation Workshop from English into Italian (1 day course): production processes and technologies.

- Project Manager (2011-2012);
- Cat specialist and In-House Translator (2011);
- Internship in the Cat Tools department of a translation agency (2010-2011);
- Internship in a graphic design studio (2009).

Interests:

(Computational) Linguistic, natural language processing, machine translation, subtitling, reading, travel and tourism.
