Source text - English GOVERNORS’ ADMISSION POLICY
FOR ENTRIES IN SEPTEMBER 2008
The Governing Body of the College is responsible for all admissions of students and it has determined the following admissions policy:
• The Governing Body will admit up to 150 students in 2008 – 2009.
• All applicants in categories 1-4 will be required to present a Baptismal certificate or equivalent with their application.
• In addition the governors will require a supporting letter from a leader of a religious community for all applicants of other faith traditions to indicate membership of the appropriate worshipping community.
• Should there be more applications than places available, students will be admitted in the following order of priority:
1) Looked-after baptised Catholic boys in the care of the Local Authority
2) Baptised Catholic boys.
3) Looked-after boys in the care of the Local Authority.
4) Boys of other Christian/faith traditions whose parents wish them to receive a Catholic education.
5) All other boys who do not fall within the above categories.
In the event of oversubscription, the criteria used within the relevant category will be:
• Students with siblings in the college
• Students living nearest the college

Rada Szkoły jest odpowiedzialna za wszystkie przyjęcia uczniów do szkoły i określiła następujące zasady:
• Rada Szkoły przyjmie do 150 uczniów w roku 2008 – 2009.
• Wszyscy kandydaci ubiegający się o miejsce w ramach kategorii 1-4 zobowiązani są dołączyć do swojego podania akt chrztu lub jego odpowiednik.
• Rada Szkoły ponadto wymaga, aby wszyscy kandydaci innych wyznań przedłożyli list od przedstawiciela ich społeczności religijnej, potwierdzający, że są oni członkami danej społeczności wyznaniowej.
• W przypadku większej liczby podań niż dostępnych miejsc, uczniowie będą przyjmowani w następującej kolejności:
1) Ochrzczeni katoliccy chłopcy objęci opieką instytucjonalną przez lokalne władze.
2) Ochrzczeni katoliccy chłopcy.
3) Chłopcy objęci opieką instytucjonalną przez lokalne władze.
4) Chłopcy innych wyznań chrześcijańskich lub innej religii, których rodzice chcą, żeby otrzymali katolickie wykształcenie.
5) Wszyscy inni chłopcy nie odpowiadający żadnej z powyższych kategorii.
W przypadku nadmiernej liczby podań, w ramach danej kategorii zastosowanie będą miały następujące kryteria:
• Uczniowie z rodzeństwem w tej szkole
• Uczniowie mieszkający najbliżej szkoły
