I actually think that the standardized information menu is useful, but it is "in or out" (if you decide to display it, everything pops out, otherwise all the standard information is hidden) and I was wondering if there is something we can do about this (despite of deploying a custom tab to a specific topic). I was thinking about some way to choose which standard information to display in the custom profile. Do you think it would be good / possible to work something like this out? Great suggestion! | | | Toggling profile sections visibility | Oct 9, 2009 |
Hello Alessandra and Elizabeth, Please note that there are at least two ways of hiding or showing certain sections in the standardized view of profiles. Some areas such as KudoZ activity, Project history, Blue Board entries made by this user and Forum posts can be shown to visitors or not by toggling visibility. Regards, Lucia Hi, I would like to get more clarity on this topic. How do I permanently display "standardized view"? Mine is always collapsed... and my profile page only shows my kudoz activity in the right hand column (and of course map/calendar at the left), and my rather empty "about me" section with link to my website. Thanks. | | | "Preferred display format: Standardized / Personalized" | Oct 2, 2012 |
Hello Lianne, You can change the display format of your profile page by clicking on either "Personalized" or "Standardized" at the top, left corner of your profile page: Preferred display format: Standardized / Personalized In the "personalized" view, the "about me" section of your profile is shown first on the default "Profile" tab. In the "standardized" view, on the other hand, standard profile data comes first, and the "about me" section follows. Hope this helps.
