In an Excel file that I'm proofreading, after a heading
"Antal depåkunder"
there are three lines:
C6 < 1 Mkr st
C7 1-5 Mkr st
C8 > 5 Mkr st
These have been translated as:
C6 < 1 SEK million
C7 SEK 1-5 million
C8 > SEK 5 million
At first, I just thought that it was wrong as we have been putting SEK before the figures and not after.
But we are talking about the number of custodial/deposit accounts and so then I thought that "st" = "stycke"
So why has the translator used SEK? Does he/she understand something that I don't or is it a mistake?
What should it be if it is a mistake?

That's what I'd have thought - it's just that you can't be sure exactly what the "st" is, unless you can tell from your overall document, i.e. whether it's an item, a box or a different container, etc.

I think the translator made the right call. I assume the heading has been translated as "number of custodial/deposit accounts" with the three alternatives below. There's no need to translate "st" as in "stycken" since that's already in the heading. However, I would correct:
C6 < 1 SEK million
C7 SEK 1-5 million
C8 > SEK 5 million
to read:
C6 < SEK 1 million
C6 < 1 SEK million
C7 SEK 1-5 million
C8 > SEK 5 million
to read:
C6 < SEK 1 million
Discussion
Do you mean "number of accounts with 1-5 million Swedish Crowns" etc. but that the actual number of such accounts is not given?
