Spanish term or phrase: bote/premio gordo Estimados amigos: Espero que alguien me pueda ayudar ya que no soy muy conocedor de la jerga del mundo del juego.....estoy traduciendo del inglés la palabra 'jackpot' y encuentro en Proz y en otras fuentes dos traducciones: una es 'premio gordo' y otra es 'bote'. Desde mi modesto conocimiento creo que estas dos cosas no son equivalentes al menos en España. ¿Alguien sabe si estas dos palabras significan lo mismo? Yo siempre he creido que el premio gordo es el primer premio y que el bote una cantidad que se va acumulando durante varias semanas.....entonces 'jackpot'? Gracias. premio gordo Explanation: En mi opinión, pueden ser lo mismo, dado que el bote es el dinero que se acumula para el premio gordo.
