Spanish term

"falta de ingestión absoluta"

Spanish to English Medical Nutrition nutrition
Hi there! I'd like to know the English equivalent for this phrase "la falta de ingestión absoluta"... The text is about nutrition. Context:
I'd appreciate any suggestions!! =)
Thank you very much!!!

¡Mil gracias Natalia! ¡Buen fin de semana!
agree Bubo Coroman (X) : this is the idea! Suggestions: I think it's more idiomatic to use the indefinite article "a" and also "total" because "complete" has positive connotations and "total" is more neutral. So: a total lack of food intake
