Portuguese term or phrase: na chapa
I'm translating a menu from a hotel in Brazil and this term is used frequently; peixe na chapa, carne na chapa, tomate na chapa. I believe a chapa is a certain type of grill but as the menu also lists 'peixe no grill' I do not understand what the difference is. Can anybody enlighten me?

Actually a griddle doesn't have to be ridged (mine is though), it can be flat. The point is that it is not an open grid, but a piece of solid metal.
