Mikikoさんの提案する表現を見て思ったのですが、
名詞句にしようとするのに無理があるかもしれませんね。もう少し考えてみます。

もう少し詳しく説明しますと、試験項目としては、全部で26項目（絶縁抵抗、耐電圧、摺動雑音、集中接触抵抗...チャタリング、トルク、操作部強度、端子強度....はんだ耐熱、はんだ付け性、耐寒性、耐熱性...負荷寿命、回転寿命、スイッチ寿命、腐食雰囲気試験、etc.)で、それぞれの項目について、試験方法として、JIS C 5261 または、JIS C 5441に規定された各試験方法、もしくは社内で規定した方法に基づいて試験をします。
ひとつの製品に該当する試験項目について複数の試験が行われます。従って、破壊故障が必ずしも破壊試験で起こるとは限らず、劣化故障についても同じです。
破壊故障は、destruction failure, もしくは、Mikikoさんからアドバイス頂いた、breakdown failure でいこうかと思うのですが、ひっかかっているのは、
「（試験中に）○○故障となったサンプル」という意味をどのように表せばいいかです。
単に、samples with destruction failure なのか、samples causing destruction failure という言い方は英語として正しいのか、、、コメントありましたら、よろしくお願いします。
