German term
Anfahrschäden
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Construction / Civil Engineering
Surveying
Context:
"An den Bordsteinen sind teilweise Anfahrschäden erkennbar."
"Im Bereich der Durchfahrt zum Innenhof sind Anfahrschäden am WDVS erkennbar."
(WDVS = ETICS)
Anfahrschäden seems to be translated as "ramming damage" or "collision damage" pretty frequently, but I'm not sure that is really applicable here, especially not in the context of curb stones.
* Sentence or paragraph where the term occurs: See above
* Document type: Description/report/evaluation
* Target audience: Architects/Builders
* Country and dialect (source): German
* Country and dialect (target): British English

Selected
(vehicle) impact damage
We don't know how severe it is - it could be scuffing, or it could be whole bits broken off. This literal translation covers all the possibilities, since impact can be slight or severe.
