German term

Hochstämmchen

German to English Science Botany
"Zur Wahl stehen heute neben dem klassischen Weihnachtsstern-Busch auch Hochstämmchen, Mini-, Midi- oder Maxiformate."

This is from a series of texts about poinsettias ("Weihnachtssterne"). I'm not sure what kind of arrangement is meant by "Hochstämmchen" in the above sentence and would be grateful for any suggestions or explanations.

Many thanks

To mpBerlin Yes, I saw that, but the quality of the English was so bad, that I thought it best to ignore it completely. Thanks for trying, though.

single-stem poinsettias

While Googling around, I kept finding Hochstämmchen contrasted with Büsche. So I think these are plants that have been pruned to a single stem.
