ich konnte bisher nicht herausfinden, was mit dem angegebenen Begriff gemeint ist. Danke im Voraus!
À six mois, de plus en plus à l’aise avec son corps, bébé parvient à se retourner dans tous les sens lorsqu’il est couché. Il tente aussi de ramper, mais cela reste encore difficile pour lui. Il commence à pivoter pour chercher l’objet qui suscite son intérêt.
Allongé, il peut saisir vos mains et se relever pour essayer s’asseoir. Il peut s’asseoir en « trépied » seul en prenant appui sur ses mains. Il arrive à rester en position assise avec appui (6-8 mois).

Allerdings ist das "Abstützen" ja schon im restlichen Satz enthalten. Also kann ich "trépied" einfach ignorieren und übersetzen: "Das Baby kann allein sitzen, wenn es sich auf den Händen abstützt." ?
