I'm sticking my neck out a bit here and would welcome comments. Fuller background info might have come in handy?!
I think that in context, we are talking about shares in a partnership and that "equity" may well be more appropriate.

“Equity capital : partnership shares shall be paid up by the subscribers immediately upon a call by the managers.”

For the purposes of this answer, I am assuming you are still working on the partnership text and that you are willing to accept that
- « equity capital » is capital raised from the owners (partners) in the form of cash.
- « partnership share » covers « part sociale de numéraires », literally « cash partnership share », cash being understood

- Part sociale = partnership share
- Libérer = pay up
- Demander = call, call up
- Numéraire = cash. Could it not be « equity capital » here, this being capital raised from owners.
