Within this context for the agreement / contract thx. I know it means to replace the person or entity with whom it has entered into a contract but not sure right now of the exact term in UK English thanks

8.4 - Substitution

May the person/entity designating the 'substitute' do so without the 'substitute's consent?

There is no need to be rude. I understand that its substitution but I haven't seen that as a heading in an agreement, that is all. That is why I'm asking. I stated that I knew what it meant

The common-law equivalent is "assignment".
If the third party's/transferee's consent is required, then this is a "novation".

The French definition of "substitution" is not limited to the English meaning of "assignment". I think it is important to allow for the broader meaning and that "substitution" is in fact a more appropriate choice, particularly for a subheading for a section which goes on to define the circumstances in which is may be done and by what means.

Note that the meaning is subject to debate, but it does appear certain to me that it is larger than "assignment" which represents a restrictive solution.
