French to English Law/Patents Law (general) criminal judgment

This is taken from a French criminal judgment and appears at the very beginning of the document where it is naming the parties. Although a criminal action, there are also parties making claims for civil damages:

PARTIES CIVILES :
Monsieur A, demeurant X, partie civile,
comparant et assisté de Maître C, avocat au barreau de COUTANCES, (AJP sollicitée à l'audience)

Monsieur B, demeurant Z, partie civile,
comparant et assisté de Maître D, avocat au barreau de LE HAVRE,

The only reference I can find for AJP is certain journals, but I can't see how that fits in here.
