The text consists of an analyis grid describing a young student's behaviour on various days. On one particular day, "il n'a eu qu'un début de petite colère. Mais après la ***valorisation*** de sa belle journée, il a vite oublié sa colère".

Context It is possible to get the general gist of what is going on. However, without more context, the meaning of "valorisation" is ambiguous. I have more questions tha suggestions, in fact. The student started off being a little angry, but ocne his day had been "valrosiée", he soon put his angry feelings behind him. I'm not sure, but I don't think this is about the student assessing the value of his day, but rather more likely to be about a third party having congratulated him on having had a good day, for example.

"having taken full advantage of"? Without more context we can only really guess here. Is there anything else in the text that might indicate just what this "enhancement" (or whatever) might have been?

neutral Nikki Scott-Despaigne : We need more context. If it is the student considering the value of his day, in terms of behaviour perhaps, this should be in the past perfect : "that he'd had a good day".

I assume that the student is looking back and talking about a workday that is over.
