I'm translating an elevator manual from english to spanish, and one of the components is called "tailweight". It is part of a machine called "Governor". I was thinking of translating it as "peso de cola", but that does not sound right to me.
It also appears as "CAR TAILWEIGHT".
"Before instsalling the governor, check the job layout for location of Governor and Tailweight".
