In principiu informatia "hard" poate fi documentata cu cifre, valori concrete, etc, in timp ce informatia subiectiva nu este cuantificabila.
" Aceasta trebuie completata cu informatii intr-o varietate de forme incluzand atat informatii obiective cat si informatii subiective. Informatiile obiective se pot obtine prin teste de inteligenta, creativitate sau de achizitii de cunostinte. Informatiile subiective pot proveni din mediul propriu scolar, familie, observatii directe ale progresului si comportamentului si alte surse."
