It is implied that that cord will dry naturally. Why repeat it? The English simply states "dry cord care"? It answers the question: How to care for a dry cord? Also. "soin" is usually used in the plural (soins) when used in this sense. Soins des dents, des cheveux, de la bouche...etc.
"Soins pour cordon (ombilical) sec" marchera aussi.

Saying simply "dry cord care" can give the impression of what one should not do (or do) to the cord until it falls off. That's what my point is.
It would clearer to those who are not well-versed in the medical field if the English read: natural drying for umbilical cord care.
It is understood that a umbilical cord falls out if left to dry.
Please look at this site if what I am saying is nonsense:
You sure can "CARE" for a cord while it is drying. I think it is nonsense to think otherwise.

Why not just say: Méthode de séchage naturel.
What is the "care" involved if you don't need to do anything ( no precautions to take while it is drying)? It's a method. You have two different methods for removing an umbilical cord to my understanding. I don't care for the word "care" nor "soin" since "méthod" (méthode) sounds clearer to the reader, unless it's for an audience of medical experts who would know right off the bat what is being said.

What is the nonsense? What one should or should not do UNTIL the umbilical cord falls off? Don't irritate it, don't allow a diaper to rub against it? What's the nonsense?
