English term

window bed socket

English to French Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
"Illuminated signs, lighting in the front entrance area, and window bed sockets shall be wired off the window area, distribution board which is time switch controlled."
I think windows here means "shop window" (there is a specific distribution board for the shop front), and I think the comma after "area" is a typo. It makes sense to me except "window bed sockets"

The 'window bed' refers to the 'floor' of the window display area, which is of course not actually at the same level as the 'real' floor of the shop itself.

These thing commonly have a number of power sockets discretely let into them, to supply power requirements in the window display without too many trailing cables.
