To get up, to stand up Explanation: 'Otha' usually means -to get up and 'darano' means to stand up. Examples of 'otha' in sentences: আমি উঠে দাড়ালাম।(I stood up) আমি ঘুম থেকে উঠলাম।(I woke up from my sleep) আমি পাহাড়ের উপর উঠলাম।(I got up on the mountain top) Examples of 'darano' আমি ছায়ায় দাড়ালাম।(I stood in the shadow) If you compare with the first example under 'otha', the meaning is somewhat similar.
