Arabic to English Art/Literary
Rabboussamai fikarrajaii

The previous is a verse in Arabic (I believe to be the phoentic translation in English) in a song titled "Ojos Asi" by a Latin singer named Shakira. I have searched the Internet trying to get the English translation, but have been very unsuccesful. Could you please help me out with the translation. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me. Thanks.

This is defintely a poem

Lord of the heavens, you're my only hope,
In her eyes, I see life,
I come to you Lord from this universe,
I beg You, Please answer my prayer.

The first respondent has it right.

BTW / FYI, Shakira while bcoming promiennt as a Latina singer, is now admitting and asserting her family's Lebanese origins.

Same for Ms. Hayek.

Lord of Heaven..

The first answer has a good translation; the second answer has a good comment. I'll try, though, with a slightly different translation.

Lord of Heaven, You're the hope,
In her eyes, I see life (and all).
From this universe to Thee I come,
I beg of You, answer my call.

Regards to...all.

Good responses, this is my version, made it a little poetic

Lord of the heavens,in Thee my hope lies
All of Life, I see in her eyes
From this universe I come to Thee
Oh answer,please answer my plea.
