Hallo Heide, ich habe auch gerade noch mal gegoogelt und folgende Varianten ausprobiert:

très honorable (magna cum laude) -> 1 Eintrag
magna cum laude (très honorable) -> 2 Einträge
Insgesamt: 3 Einträge

très honorable (summa cum laude) -> 9 Einträge
summa cum laude (très honorable) -> 17 Einträge
Insgesamt: 26 Einträge

Wenn du die Begriffe direkt hintereinander eingibst, sprechen die Google-Einträge also klar für meine Variante.

Die lateinischen Bezeichnungen sind anscheinend immer gleich:
1. summa cum laude (beste Note)
2. magna cum laude (zweitbeste Note)
3. cum laude (drittbeste Note)

Was uneinheitlich ist, ist die entsprechende Übersetzung. Manchmal heißt es beispielsweise:
1. summa cum laude = avec distinction/très honorable = mit Auszeichung
2. magna cum laude = très bien = sehr gut
3. cum laude = bien = gut

Oder:
1. summa cum laude = très bien = sehr gut
2. magna cum laude = bien = gut
3. cum laude = assez bien = befriedigend

Worüber jedoch kein Zweifel besteht, ist, dass „très honorable“ die beste Note ist. Daher ist hier meiner Meinung nach in jedem Fall „summa cum laude“ die richtige Entsprechung (und nicht „magna cum laude“).
