Hallo, es geht mir um den Begriff "tag", hier als Überschrift. Kontext: Telefonakquise!
Mir liegt etwas auf der Zunge, bin aber auf eure Vorschläge gespannt.
Beispiel:
“Hi, Mr. Smith, this is Bill Cross at ABC company. I’d like to meet with you; I looked in my schedule and I’m going to be in San Francisco next thursday, and I wanted to know if next thursday at 2:30 is okay. My phone number is 222/444-1345.”

Leitfaden ?
In meiner Tätigkeit im Telefonmarketing hatten wir vorgegebene Texte, die "Leitfaden" genannt wurden. Ich weiss nicht, ob es dem Begriff "tag" entspricht, aber der angeführte Text dürfte schätzungsweise Teil eines Leitfadens sein.

Well, now I know what it is. To tell you the truth, it's a completely new term for me in English. Either it is new or I am out of the loop. In any case, I have no idea whether there is a German term for it, or if you can use the English one. If it's an Überschrift, maybe it's explained in the text. As you can see, I'm guessing.

ist beim Rückruf aber selbst nicht da, ruft selbst zurück usw.

: possibly - you say to play "telephone tag" (or at least I do) if you call back and forth and never actually get ahold of each other - perhaps "Hin- und Hertelefonieren"??- BTW. It is not new and is a take-off on the child's game "tag"

Telephone tag has to be the scourge of all salespeople. Here�s the message we leave when find that we�ve been playing at least three rounds of phone tag with someone.
This message is basically a �last chance� message. Either you get the appointment or you move on.
