I found the following definition for quadri-impulso on the Web (URL: www.frascati.enea.it/fis/lac/fel/tutorial): Possiamo definire quindi il quadri-impulso come un quadrivettore che ha come parte spaziale le tre componenti px, py e pz dell'impulso e come parte temporale la quantità E/c: P = (px , py , pz, E/c) Apparently, we are dealing with a vector having 3 spacial components (along 3 Cartesian axes) and a time-dependant component.
