It's a bicycle part. I only have 1 page of what seems to be instructions for assembly of a bicycle. "um der Fahrradhalterung für den Navigator optimalen Halt auch an schmalen Lenkerrohren zu geben".. Is this the frame of the bike?

Yes, you are both right - I found 5 times as many hits for "handlebar" as for "handle bar". I thought the German word was "Lenker".

: Sheldon Brown (good ref.) (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_h.html) uses "handlebar". One could say "narrow-diameter handlebar tube", but "narrow-diameter handlebar" is less confusing, I think.
