This is from an "Instructions For Use" document and I simply need verification, if this is identical with the German "Viszeralchirurgie" or - if not - what the correct term would be.
(Obviously it is not "Peritonealchirurgie"!!)

A reference/URL would be much appreciated.

Chirurgie des Bauchraums

"Viszeralchirurgie" beinhaltet auch innere ORgane, die nicht im Bauchraum leigen (z.B. Ösophagus) und ist identisch mit "Eingeweidechirurgie".
Bei der C"hirurgie des Bauchraums" muss das Peritoneum (Buauchfell) eröffnet weden.
