English term

they didn’t take it

English to Italian Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Information Technology
If it goes that way, Veritas, HP, Sun, Network Appliance and 80 per cent of other companies don’t have much opportunity. It’s partly to do with the notion that says they’re a threat to the industry from the might of their power to the stack. But customers don’t want to align because they get no choice or flexibility. We’ve been there before with the mainframe and they didn’t take it.

Non capisco bene a chi si riferisce l'"it" (a "mainframe" oppure a "choice or flexibility"?) e in generale il "they didn’t take it".

Grazie,

Mauro

it - lack of flexibility
