enkeltforføyning <> enkeltforfølgning single injunction (Scots law: interdict) individual proceedings against the debtor Explanation: typo ? *dekning* av forpliktelser ved 'enkeltforføyning' makes little sense to me though in NOR BM & NN /ENG on one of Norway's biggest shipping bankruptcies 40 years ago. Also, I always try to give a Scots law nod to askers 'originally from Scotland' e.g. interdict vs. injunction and Letters of Confirmation vs. Probate. Example sentence(s):

single act of dispossession Explanation: In the context of accounting and finance, "enkeltforføyning" in Norwegian refers to a legal process where a creditor has the right to dispose of the debtor's assets without judicial intervention. This can include selling or otherwise transferring ownership of the debtor's assets to satisfy outstanding debts. In the given sentence, "enkeltforføyning" means that immaterial assets are not easily suitable for covering or satisfying liabilities through a legal process without judicial intervention, such as "tvangsakkord" (compulsory composition) or "konkurs" (bankruptcy). This may be due to the nature of immaterial assets, such as intellectual property, which may not have a tangible value or may be difficult to sell or transfer ownership of quickly in a legal proceeding. The translation of the sentence would be: "Intangible assets are not well suited for covering liabilities through a single act of dispossession, compulsory composition, or bankruptcy."
