packing and preparation for shipping Explanation: From a website that explains how credit cards are made: The finished cards are then prepared for shipping, usually by attaching the card to a paper letter with adhesive. This last step could be what is referred to as "alistamiento." Therefore, I tend to think that in this case "alistar" means "to get them ready for shipping" (for example, by putting them in a envelope.) Example sentence(s):
