English term or phrase: Breakers
I spoke to a mate who was in Breakers. My mate said if Hunt was into weapons he would have come up on Deakin's radar.

It is taken from East West 101 series S01E05. Two police officers talking about ex-police officer and how he should know a suspect. No clue what they mean by Breakers?

Thanks in advance,

Criminal Investigation Branch Special Breaking Unit
Explanation:
Breakers is a nickname for a police unit in Australia.

"Until the mid-1960s, the safebreaker had been revered by criminal colleagues as the "prince of thieves"...Cartels emerged under a number of leaders and these organisations painstakingly planned attacks on banks and company payrolls, executing them with military-like precision. To combat the problem, the NSW Police Force formed the armed hold-up squad. At the same time, the breaking detail was set up to investigate other major robberies. That group merged with the safe and arson squad and became the special breaking unit - or "breakers"."

The name of a place

Explanation:
Since it is capitalized, I think it is the name of a place, probably somewhere near the ocean because breakers means "waves breaking on the shore".
