Arabic term

وعيناها الواهنتان

Arabic to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature
Hi everyone,

Does this mean 'weak eyes'? It's a scene where a mother is worried about her son
who has been bitten by a snake.

كانت يائسة، صوتها يرتجف هلعا على ابنها، وعيناها الواهنتان
تفتت القلب

Thanks!

tired eyes

When we face problems, we normally don't sleep, and get tired (eyes). Eyes normally collocate with "eyes", not weak.

Your eyes are burning, itchy, and tired. It's a common condition but rarely serious.
