A béridőszaknak azok a napjai, amelyeken a jogszerzőnek nem volt nyugdíjjárulék alapjául szolgáló keresete vagy jövedelme, nem képeznek osztónapot. Nem osztónap a táppénzes nap. A munkanélküli-járadékon, nyugdíj előtti munkanélküli-segélyen, gyermekgondozási segélyen töltött nap sem osztónap, ha ugyanezen a napon nem volt a jogszerzőnek biztosítási jogviszonyból származó keresete vagy jövedelme.
