Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Engineering: Industrial / Port discharger structure - boom
Portuguese term or phrase: junta espelho
This term refers to a heavy piece of metal work - a crane boom traingular in cross section with three longitudonal pipes or tubes. Where one of the welds or joints hyave ruptured.

I assume it is a sort of surround plate at the welded joint or something but wondered if anyone is aware of a correct technical term in english for this ?

A primeira refere-se ao ponto de ruptura da tubulação superior da lança e a segunda refere à “junta espelho”.
