Steckdose ABS.

German to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering sauna
This is part of a table describing the technical details of a sauna. I am not sure what to make of the "ABS." Even worse, the German text is all uppercase letters so I am not sure if it is Abs. or ABS.

ANSCHLUSS: WECHSELSTROM 230 V STECKDOES ABS.: 16A

Does anybody know what ABS is here?

Quite likely this means "Absicherung: 16 Ampere.", protection: 16 amps. I'm quite confident because 16 A is standard fuse rating in Germany and because there is not ABS-16A, it's always ABS when referring to the material.

ABS plug

The link below talks about ABS and EBS Steckdosen, where ABS stands for a plug with 5 pins opposed to the EBS one with 7 pins.
Although it might be possible that they refer to the plastic it is made of, I don't think that's very likely. Also the full stop doesn't make any sense. Maybe you should go for the safe option and call it an ABS plug.
