The emergency shut-down (ESD) systems can be bypassed for up to one shift with the approval of the unit shift manager or unit manager. Bypasses of more than one shift’s duration should be approved by the deputy general director for production. Long term bypasses should be reviewed by the standing technical committee.
The instrumentation engineers should insert and remove the bypasses. However, an operator can physically implement the bypass of an ESD system using his password on those units with distributed control systems, and via a manual switch in an unlocked box for those units with analogue control systems.
Bypasses are recorded in a logbook. The description of the bypassed system, the reason for the bypass, the signature of the authorising person and the times at which the bypass was made and removed are recorded. The person responsible for each action signs the dedicated logbook.

Дарья, писать "обойденная" система или выкручиваться с повторением шунтирования не нужно, ИМХО, структура предложения позволяет написать "соответсвующие", "затронутые" и пр.
