suspended wooden dance floor, Just guessing, wooden portable dance floor, interlocks to each other (have set these up) flotante, floats, is suspended , over aluminum supports, RASTRELES as Cristina already said, supports can be stressed like spokes of motorcycle wheel and make a good dance floor look at http://www.cdcarpas.es/mobile/tarimas.html (new to me, but have set up the floor in the picture) ALUMINUM supports, similar to design of stressed beams, for building houses.

A "rastrel" is a strip, usually made of wood but in this case they must be aluminum. Take a look at this drawing:
