Thank you very much Thank you very much Dr Manu and Liz, also for pointing out the 'h' which I had omitted in 'periurethral'. I will leave the question open and make a note for the client.

peri urethral would would be redundant with posterior, whereas and beyond does not convey the same limitation. Maybe you should ask the author.

Also, surgeons are pretty precise, so I don't think they would say "and beyond" - this could make the cut limitless!
