Portuguese term
prestadores de proteção
Portuguese to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
Hi All,
I'm translating a Bank's internal operating guidelines and would appreciate any help with the above term in the following context:
Se a responsabilidade não for solidária, deve considerar-se a média dos graus de risco dos prestadores de proteção, ponderada pelo valor das responsabilidades garantidas, desde que essa média resulte num grau de risco melhor que o do devedor.
Many thanks in advance,
Darren

: Use this general term, as it covers providers other than just insurance companies. I used to work in investment banking.

Thanks Jo :) Upon re-reading the first link, I realize it's not relevant here. Only some of the examples in the Linguee page, those that deal with credit. Actually this seems to be a "back-translated" term used in PT.
