GIV Miscarriage/D&C GII
GIV / GIII, (G4/ G3) for example, refer to the number of pregnancies:

It's the same in English:

In this context, I think "AbEspl" could be aborto espontáneo con legrado:
In English this would be spontaneous abortion/miscarriage with curettage, though I think it's usually dilation and curettage/D&C:
D&C Procedure After a Miscarriage: Risks & Complications

Jul 18, 2017 - A D&C procedure after a Miscarriage, also known as dilation and curettage, is a surgical procedure often performed after a first trimester miscarriage.
The Reproductive Medicine Group (Personal History)
https://www.patientlinkonline.com/mainform.aspx?parms... miscarriage naturally. miscarriage with D&C
So in this case, I think the patient has had 4 pregnancies, with the second or third (you use GIII and GII) ending in miscarriage.

I would like to add that in English, G4, G3 etc is probably better than GIV, GIII.

: Silly me! I thought GIV was gestación interrumpida voluntariamente (from Cosnautas) and got stuck :)

Thanks, Charles! I saw a pattern with the GIII and thought they were probably Roman numerals.
