French term

rassemble une zone cohérente de la statistique

French to English Tech/Engineering Mathematics & Statistics statistics app
Part of a database that contains judicial statistics uses a particular application:

Not sure what this means so I'm guessing (rather literally) with: groups a coherent area of the statistics. Any improvements welcome.

data cube It seems like they are describing the assembly of data into "data cubes" for statistical analysis.

That was my first thought, but I can't seem to find anything in English about it! It's possibly one that's been specially developed for this project.

Hello Moira,
Silly question time. Does the "Cubes" app not have an English-language site? I suspect they do and it might be a good source of explanations.

creates a self-contained subset of the statistics

The first of herbalchemist's very helpful references explains what is meant by a data cube. It's like a matrix of data, but in three dimensions, that looks like a Rubik's cube. You can break it down into smaller cubes, or slices, that give you information about a part of the total data set.

One of the translations in my dictionary reference is "self-consistent", which is the same idea.
