And another!
This is obviously to do with automatic transmission, but don't understand in that case why it has "boite mécanique" also not sure how to translate pilotée. Electrically controlled? Thanks again for any help!

Automated gearbox actuators
Explanation:
You have to realise that this is an automated gearbox and not an automatic gearbox.

An automatic gearbox has a torque converter and hydraulically controlled brake bands select the actual physical gears. They generally have less gear pairs than a manual gearbox because the torque converter can provide much more "slipping" than a normal clutch. However, this wastes power (and therefore fuel).

Automated gearboxes are in fact pretty much a standard manual gearbox and clutch but they are controlled by solenoids (the actuators in the question) rather than directly by the driver. In turn, the solenoids are controlled by a computer. This provides the same fuel efficiency as a manual gearbox but can still be automatic. In many (most?) cases the gearbox and clutch can also be controlled by the driver but this is is not a necessary feature. Automated gearboxes are relatively new as the necessary computing power has only recently become available.

actuators of manually/automatically driven gear box

Explanation:

Mechanical gearbox/Mechanically driven gearbox

Explanation:
Mechanical gearbox or Mechanically driven gearbox, although both mean the same thing, the first is more widely used.
