Primeiramente, não se devem traduzir esses termos "ing" como gerúndios em português. O correto é transformá-los em substantivos.
O que o autor quis dizer, IMO, é que bens tangíveis podem ser colocados em nome dos curadores, por diversos motivos. Portanto, transferência de propriedade de bens.

Convinha ver quem são estes "trustees" porque o termo pode ser traduzido de maneiras diferentes em função da situação (o que o texto não deixa claro). Talvez dizer administradores seja o mais neutro...
