Although this answer has been awarded a credit, it should be taken with a grain of salt. Clinical Group literally means a group of clinicians participating in patients' care. It can be a group of partners in a business, etc.

I have already referred to a Russian link similar to the reference by Maksym Nevzorov (please see below).

The concept in question is "a category of patients (a grouping, may be, but not a group) with a certain degree of responsiveness to cancer treatment."

Not Phases of Clinical Trials. Sorry if I confused you Turdimurod. (These are the phases in drug development). I only meant that this patient has cancer that is responsive to treatment, that's why she is a participant in a clinical trial.

Все-таки это либо clinical group, либо oncology group
Почитайте обсуждения. В принципе, я считаю, что oncology group вполне себе тоже нормальный вариант.

Turdimurod, clinical staging still refers to the stage of cancer in a patient (TNM). "Clinical" describes how the staging process has been achieved - through clinical diagnostic procedures. I think, the word "stage" will always lead to description of a degree of cancer in one particular individual.

I think, I need more of a "treatment response category" or "response to treatment ... something."

I think the idea is that this patient is qualified to participate in a clinical trial for her condition because she falls under a category of responsive cancer patients.

May be just a descriptive term instead of trying to categorize it?

The clinical stage is a key part of deciding the best treatment to use. It’s also the baseline used for comparison when looking at how the cancer responds to treatment.

Turdimurod, unfortunately, cancer staging does not work either.

Cancer staging describes the extent of the tumor (T), lymph node involvement (N), metastasis (M), as well as various other events, such as tumor rupture, spill of the cancerous cells, etc.

Клиническая группа is a more general category of cancer's responsiveness to treatment.

Андрей, я не указала номер лечебной группы по причине конфиденциальности. Ну может не имеет значения т.к. пациента не знаем. Это группа 2 - рак, который подвергается лечению.
А мне вот нужно перевести выражение "клиническая группа".
На английском, Clinical group бошьше относится к группе людей, которые обеспечивают обслуживание (медицинское, например).

А в моем случае, клиническая группа это категория раковых заболеваний, которая классифицируется по степени ответа на лечение.

Может быть кто то в прошлом уже переводил этот термин?

Кимберли, по Вашей ссылке, есть 4 клинические группы, но тут не указано какая это группа. Сказано лишь, что есть клиническая группа, у которых код диагноза по МКБ-10 С56:
КОД ПО МКБ-10. С56. Злокачественное новообразование яичника.
Это все, что дано. Нельзя взять и написать pre-cancer, treatable, in remission, или terminal. Просто clinical group. Это нормально. Уж точно pre-cancer судя по всему не подходит.
