data array Explanation: Analogiškai kaip dvimatis masyvas - two-dimensional array Retas masyvas - sparce array etc. In computer science, an array data structure, or simply an array, is a data structure consisting of a collection of elements (values or variables), each identified by at least one array index or key. An array is stored so that the position of each element can be computed from its index tuple by a mathematical formula. |

mass storage device/bulk data Explanation: Kadangi nelabai aiškus kontekstas, galima interpretuoti duomenų masyvą ir kaip storage device (mass storage device), ir kaip bulk data, kuri irgi kažkur fiziškai talpinama. storage array, disk array Explanation: The context quite clearly shows that it’s about hardware. Workstations (front-end hardware) are mentioned together or contrasted with storage arrays (back-end hardware). For some reason, “duomenų masyvas” is often used imprecisely, even among professionals, such as here: http://www-05.ibm.com/lt/storage/disk/fastt/DS4800.html ... while speaking about storage arrays. The traditional term is “disk array”, however “storage array” might be more modern because HDDs are increasingly replaced with solid-state storage technologies. Example sentence(s):
