In the matter of an objection ('demurrer') to a declaration recognis/zing a foreign award Explanation: Careful about using the term of demurrer - it is supposed to 'gone out of US and UK' legal usage, but is still used in EN criminal justice. Note that, in Scots law, the declaration might be termed a 'declarator' cf. in ESP/Lat. Am. > el declaratorio. Example sentence(s):

In the case/proceedings of opposition to the recognition of effectiveness of a foreign arbitral awar Explanation: If I were you, I would use the same terminology of The New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (also known as New York Arbitration Convention), which was ratified by Italy on 31 January, 1969. https://www.uncitral.org/pdf/english/texts/arbitration/NY-co... Bear in mind that, as Italy has ratified this international convention, this text forms part of the Italian legislation in the broad sense. Regarding your sentence, I would say: In the case/proceedings of opposition to the recognition of effectiveness of a foreign arbitral award […] Case here means judicial case, judicial proceedings. |
