French term or phrase: dossiers d'expertises
Hello,

I know this term has come up in other contexts, but my text is a corporate document for an engineering company. It is a questionnaire about management practices.

Le manager déploie son énergie à :
1. développer la coopération,
2. donner du feedback,
3. gérer des dossiers d'expertises en direct
etc
etc

Any ideas what the dossiers d'expertises might refer to?

The FR is quite wide-ranging and so I think the EN has to cover a wide range of possibilites too, unless you ahve something elsewhere in your FR documnt to indicate more speficially the nature of the "dossiers" in question. Indeed, "dossier" may also be being used not just to mean "report" but also "affairs/matters/cases/issues", (issue in the old meaning of "matter" not necessarily a "problem" as such).

Consultant/-cy covers external services provided by independent individuals, firms of organisations with regard to technical matters realting to the specific nature of the business in question, but also potentially to accounting, audit and human resources, for example.

Explanation:
Usually, "expertises" relate to some sort of investigation, claim, etc.
I suggest "cases", but worded like this because of the "en direct".
"realtime case management"

Keeping the verbal form pattern, "manage cases in realtime" sounds too vague. Perhaps your client will tell you what sort of "cases" they are dealing with.

neutral  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: Interesting and plausible suggstion. I'm not sure about "real time" for "direct" though. It is so often used erroneously where "directement" ought to be employed.
