We have a Telugu translation of an E-Diary for which the client has sent a reference where “No” was translated as “కాదు”. Our linguist suggested that this should be changed to “లేదు”.

: "No" is. కాదు . "Not there" is లేదు. While no is used universally in English, it is not so in Telugu.
